Start with your own work

Your ideas, preliminary results and application materials provide the starting point.

Confirm the key decisions

Review your field, application codes, plan and references before continuing.

Keep text and figures connected

Figures are organized after drafting, using the current proposal content.

Literature & paper writing

Follow new work. Read it closely.
Turn evidence into a paper.

Three tools for everyday research. Use them independently, or bring what you learn into your NSFC proposal.

Literature tracking

Let the next relevant paper
come to your workspace.

Save a research direction once. Review new records together, then narrow the reading list to what matters to your work.

  • A plan that keeps runningChoose keywords, sources and a daily, weekly or monthly schedule.
  • Find the right papers fasterFilter by tags, journal, publication period and your minimum impact factor.
  • Keep the next step closeArchive reports, save records and import papers into the reader.

Paper reading

Read the paper.
Keep the reasoning.

Move between the original, translation and bilingual view. Read completed passages while the remaining translation continues.

  • Compare without losing your placeKeep the source text, figures and formulas close to the translation.
  • Build a useful reading recordCollect annotations, highlights and notes alongside the paper.
  • Ask with the paper in viewDiscuss a passage with your connected model, then check its answer against the source.
Open the paper reader

Read literature on its own, or bring it into proposal and paper-writing projects.

Paper writing

From “I want to write about…”
to a paper you can refine.

Describe the article you have in mind. Develop the outline, tables, figures, references and chapters in one project.

  • Plan before draftingConfirm the writing outline and the role of each planned table and figure.
  • Keep evidence within reachChoose Flash or Max reading and link usable source passages to the argument.
  • Edit and prepare the final versionRevise chapters, manage authors and affiliations, then download LaTeX or the typeset PDF.

A few things to know before starting

Which model does PaperX use?

PaperX connects to the model selected in your current WorkBuddy or Codex conversation. Automatic submission requires host support and an active connection. Task status is visible in the workspace.

What do I need to confirm?

Review your research field, application codes, plan and references. Check the generated draft, figures and citations, and complete a final review against the actual application requirements.

Is Qingyan an official NSFC platform?

Qingyan is the project intelligence module in PaperX. It searches and analyzes its currently available collection. It is not an official NSFC platform; verify project details, eligibility and requirements with the original sources.

Can I export the application?

Yes. Review the complete proposal in the full preview and export Word or PDF. Check figures, citations and the remaining content before using it as your final version.
